All eyes are on you as you take the stage. Adrenaline pumps through your veins as throngs of friends cheer you on. The music starts, you take a deep breath, and you go for it.
Welcome to LA Karaoke, LA's only social karaoke league. It's team-based, which means you roll with your crew, or make new friends as a free agent. It's competitive, meaning you take it just as seriously as everyone in the "ball" leagues (meaning you take it way more seriously than you should). Your fellow singers are your judges, and you'll return the favor, with our scientifically-tested online scoring system."
Christin is one of the founders of LA Karaoke and acts as Marketing and Communications Manager. Christin originally began her competitive karaoke adventures in the District Karaoke league, but decided to embrace manifest destiny after graduating from law school. When not InstaFaceTweeting, Christin can be found building sandcastles, singing along to Disney movies, and engaging in heated debates regarding the poor management structure of the Death Star.
Trish is league manager and co-founder of LA Karaoke. Formerly a middle-school English teacher, Trish moved from running a classroom to running others' households as a nanny and personal assistant in the South Bay area. When off of the LA Karaoke stage, you can find her perfecting her rendition of "Son of a Preacher Man," crafting outrageously complicated stuffed cheeseburgers, and playing beach volleyball.
Jesse B Rauch
Jesse B, the founder and Commissioner of District Karaoke, started the league to establish a community of awesome folks in the District who like to sing. Over 5 years later, District Karaoke, and its sister leagues, comprise the largest karaoke league in America. Jesse B does have a day job though - he works for a women's advocacy non-profit where he manages the nation's largest effort to empower women to confidently and successfully negotiate their salary and benefits in service of closing the gender pay gap. Jesse B is a graduate of Boston University and American University and lives in Washington, DC.
